We are excited to announce that the 2019 International Women’s Brass Conference will be held at Arizona State University! Our opening concert will be Wednesday afternoon, followed by a welcome reception for all participants and presenters will follow the Wednesday evening concert held pool-side at the Graduate Hotel.  

Each day will see a diverse schedule of recitals, workshops and lectures, followed by evening concerts at 7:30pm, featuring some of the brightest stars of the brass world. The conference begins with competitions on Tuesday and closes Saturday night with a celebratory event on the roof of the Graduate Hotel.

AUDITIONS *NEW* (4/24/19)

The U.S. Army Music Program will hold tuba and horn auditions at Arizona State University during IWBC. These auditions are for current vacancies in Army Regional Bands, and will take place on Saturday, May 25 throughout the day.  Contact Staff Sergeant Daniel McBride for audition materials and to reserve a spot: [email protected] / 210-376-7477.

SATURDAY RECEPTION 

On Saturday evening we will celebrate a wonderful week with an informal reception at the Graduate Hotel in Tempe on the roof of the hotel starting at 9:30 pm.  Programs will take place at the Arizona State University, Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts in Tempe, AZ.
